I'm not fully understanding LED wiring requirements. This unit (National Specialty LEDRL Reflective Stair Light) looks like it's just direct hard wire to a 110 switch, so not needing separate transformer? A:This item is a 120V. There would be no transformer required, it would be hard wired. As for the lighting of steps, there is not a way to tell you how many they light. The lighting brightness is at your discretion. If you want them super bright I would use one every stair and adjust from there.
